Tip-enhanced Photoluminescence of Single-Photon Emitters in hBN

Single-Photon emittes (SPEs) are essential building blocks for future quantum technology applications. Promising candidates are color centers in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) since they show bright single photon emission even at room temperate. Here, we use tip-enhanced photoluminescence (TEPL) to investigate the optical properties of these emitters on the nanoscale.
