CIC nanoGUNE opens a new call for Master students
CIC nanoGUNE has launched the 2022 Master Scholarships Call to provide master students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, and Nanoscience the opportunity to develop their Master Thesis in the areas of Optics at the Nanoscale, Nanobioengineering, Electronic Phenomena and Magnetism, Nanoscale Materials.
The Basque Nanoscience Research Center, nanoGUNE, located in Donostia – San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain), offers four scholarships to do a research project within one of its 10 research groups, including a rigorous scientific training, a close supervision, access to regular scientific seminars and colloquia, as well as access to suitable laboratory facilities.
Jose M. Pitarke explains that “our ideal candidates are highly motivated graduates who are planning to complete their studies with a master degree and are furthermore interested in pursuing a doctoral degree at our institution, where we aim at promoting a young, international, and multidisciplinary research environment where competitive research is performed”.
Students enrolled on an official Master degree are eligible for these scholarships. The call will be open until 30 June 2022, and the resolution will be communicated by 31 July 2022.
