Work-life balance measures
The key area of Work-life balance is focused on the creation of a working environment where the integration of the work and private life are possible.
MEETINGS SCHEDULE
NanoGUNE recognizes that some employees, for work-life balance reasons, may be unable to attend meetings if they take place too early or too late in the day. Hence, meetings will generally be scheduled during core hours, from 9am to 5pm. Meetings outside core hours could be arranged, but the schedule for those meetings needs to be agreed by all participants
TELEWORK
Occasional telework is possible when approved by the employee's supervisor. For approval, the teleworker must have internet access and must provide a contact phone number to the supervisior.
NUSERY SERVICES
A collaboration agreement has been established with the nearby nursery Tilín-Talán (Tolosa Hiribidea 107, 20018 Donostia - San Sebastian). In the framework of this agreement:
a. Tilín-Talán offers standard kindergarten facilities with the possibility to provide flexible timetables (for one given day or for the whole year) to nanoGUNE employees and visitors.
- Nursery services are offered to kids up to three years old.
- Special workshops (during Easter, Summer, and Christmas) are offered to kids from 2 to 12 years old.
- Families are offered a 10% discount both for the nursery monthly rate and for the special workshops.
b. Tilín-talán also offers specific services to attendees of Conferences and Workshops that organized or coorganized by nanoGUNE.
