By integrating the benefits of lab-on-a-chip technology with tissue engineering and biosensing platforms, this research aims to replicate specific functions and structures of human organs using primary cells. The goal is to validate novel, non-invasive theranostic tools for precise and personalized medicine, employing closed-loop control based on real-time, in-situ measurements within the same platform. This approach also aims to minimize the reliance on animal models in the process.
