I will present an overview and summary of recent work on black holes. Specifically, black holes in stellar clusters, from clusters forming today to the ancient globular clusters and everything in between. This will include stellar mass black holes and also intermediate and super massive black holes found in the nuclear clusters of galaxies. I will focus onobservational techniques and results as well as their interpretation.
