Within nanoGUNE’s strategic portfolio of technologies there are eight high-impact technologies in the biomedical sector. nanoGUNE’s entry into the Basque Health Cluster is a strategic, high added-value move. The Basque Health Cluster will operate as a transfer bridge between the front-line research being done at nanoGUNE and the current needs of companies in the biomedical sector.
The Basque Health Cluster is a not-for-profit association that aims to coordinate, represent, manage, promote and defend the shared interests of the partner companies, in collaboration with the public administrations and with other organisations in the field of biosciences and health. It also seeks to contribute towards the development, growth and internationalisation of its partners and the biosciences and health sector in the Basque Autonomous Community. Its main areas of activity (59%) are biotechnology applied to health, both human and animal, the agri-food sector, cosmetics, medical devices, e-health, management, transversal services, etc. Diagnostics stands out within these areas of action.
